Hi, I’m Codee myers!
I’m a Mental Performance Coach based in Ankeny, Iowa, proudly serving athletes in the local community and surrounding areas. As a 2017 graduate of Ankeny High School, I remained close to my roots and continue to call Ankeny home.
My journey in athletics began at a young age and allowed me to compete as a Division II women’s basketball player at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. In 2020, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences from William Jewell, and soon after, combined my passion for sports and psychology by pursuing a Master's degree in Sport Psychology from National University, which I completed in 2023.
As a former collegiate athlete, I deeply understand the importance of mental training in achieving peak performance. I believe that mental skills are just as essential as physical training, and that learning, practicing, and applying these tools consistently is key to an athlete’s overall success. This belief inspired me to launch my business, dedicated to helping athletes strengthen their mental game.
In addition to mental performance coaching, I serve as a high school girls' basketball coach at Ankeny High School. I’ve also partnered with the school’s athletic department to support student-athletes through targeted mental performance training. I value the synergy between coaching and mental skills development, and I aim to bridge the gap between mental and physical performance through my education, personal athletic experience, and coaching background.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the Lake of the Ozarks, and spoiling my two nephews—Maddox and CJ—as well as my two sweet dogs, Scout (a three-year-old mini Goldendoodle) and Buxton (a one-year-old Cockapoo). I also love staying active, reading, shopping, and catching up on my favorite Netflix shows.
